About the job

As an e-commerce business administrator, you will manage all matters relating to online retail and sales. You will assess the most suitable advertising channels, draw up marketing strategies and keep track of the associated costs. The focus is always on reaching the right target audience.

Duration: 3 years (can be shortened to 2.5)

Start date for the training programme: 1 August

Vocational school: 1st year of apprenticeship in Chemnitz, from the 2nd year of apprenticeship in Oschatz

Your day-to-day with us

Your tasks

Reception & Bookings: At reception, you’ll learn about the processes involved in the hotel industry, get a behind-the-scenes insight and discover everything you need to bear in mind when dealing with guests. What’s more, your time in this department will help you gain a thorough understanding of everything the Elldus Resort has to offer and apply this knowledge in subsequent departments. In the bookings department, you’ll learn how our booking system works behind the scenes, how offers are created and what you need to bear in mind when doing so.
Experience Teams: In the Experience Teams, you’ll get to know the target audience at Elldus Resort in great detail, and you’ll be able to apply this knowledge directly to your other areas of work and, ultimately, to marketing.
Accounting: Here, you’ll learn the basics of business administration. From working on a computer and monitoring incoming payments to keeping the cash book – this’s where your organisational skills will be put to the test.
Marketing: In your main area of responsibility – marketing – you’ll be able to put all the fundamentals you’ve learnt so far into practice, covering the Elldus Resort’s offering, the communication guidelines you’ve already learnt, and the target audience. You’ll manage our online channels, develop strategies and design campaigns.
