Information about the degree programme

The three-year dual study programme in Tourism Management provides you with a comprehensive foundation for a wide range of career paths. During your studies, you’ll gain numerous insights – both theoretical and practical – into all areas and departments of the hospitality industry. Depending on where your personal strengths lie, you can specialise in specific areas and perhaps find your dream job in marketing, reception and sales, or even in human resources. Over the course of the three years, the programme will prepare you thoroughly for a management role.

Your day-to-day life with us

Your responsibilities and areas of work

Reception & Bookings: You’ll get to know the processes involved in the hotel industry, work behind the scenes and learn everything you need to bear in mind when dealing with guests.
Marketing: We’ll show you how we create personalised offers for our guests, how to communicate effectively with your target audience, and how to develop campaigns. You’ll learn how to write copy and market our range of services in the best possible way.
Kids & Aktiv Experience Team: Here you’ll learn how to work with families and children – our main target group. This will help you in the other areas.
Catering: The course also includes an insight into the catering industry, so that you can understand how it works. You’ll learn how to plan catering services, ensuring that food and drink are provided at your event.
Human Resources: Staff planning is also part of a company’s organisation. In HR, you’ll learn the basics of human resources management and what you need to bear in mind when planning. You’ll gain an understanding of the fundamentals of recruitment and will be involved in one or two HR projects.
Conferences & Events: If you’d like to specialise in event management, we also offer you an insight into this field. Here, you’ll learn everything you need to know to plan and organise small events and conferences.
